Where is my data kept?我的数据存在哪？
On your iPhone, by default. Trips, plans, spending, guides, bookings and document photos live in the app's own storage on the device and are not uploaded. Three things do leave the phone, and only when you ask for them: a question you put to the hippo, a trip you publish as a Creation, and a trip you open up to the people travelling with you.默认在你的 iPhone 上。行程、安排、账本、攻略、预订和证件照片都存在 App 自己的本地存储里，不上传。有三样东西会离开手机，而且只在你主动要求时：你问河马的那句话、你发布成 Creation 的行程、以及你开放给同行伙伴的行程。
Do I have an account?我有账号吗？
Yes, but you never signed up for one. The first time you use anything that needs the server, the app quietly creates an anonymous account for you — no email, no password, no name. It exists so a published Creation has an author, so a shared trip knows who is in it, and so your allowances are counted against someone. You can delete it from inside the app: Menu → Data & privacy → Delete my account. That removes your published Creations, the codes you handed out and any trips you are sharing. The trips on your iPhone are not touched — deleting the app removes those.有，但你从来没注册过。第一次用到需要服务器的功能时，App 会悄悄给你建一个匿名账号——没有邮箱、没有密码、没有名字。它存在的意义是：发布的 Creation 得有个作者，共享的行程得知道谁在里面，额度得记在某个人头上。你可以在 App 里自己删掉它：侧边栏 → Data & privacy → Delete my account。删掉会一并清除你发布的 Creation、你发出去的码，以及你正在共享的行程。手机上的行程不受影响——那些要靠删 App 才会消失。
What does the hippo planner send out?河马规划师会发出去什么？
Only what it needs to answer: the message you typed, and — if you turned on "Use my trip" — a summary of that trip (destination, dates, the plans already on it). It never sends your spending records, document photos or contacts. The answer comes back through our own server rather than straight from the model, which is how the app can keep working when a model is retired. Does it work without internet?没网能用吗？
Most of it, yes — your trips, guides, spending, documents and the show-a-card screen all work offline. The hippo planner, live currency rates, publishing and travelling together need a connection.大部分能用——行程、攻略、账本、证件、出示卡片都不用网。河马规划师、实时汇率、发布作品和同行功能需要联网。
Why does it ask for the microphone?为什么要麦克风权限？
So you can talk to the planner instead of typing, and for face-to-face conversation translation. Speech is turned into text on your iPhone itself; the audio never leaves the device.为了让你可以对着河马说话，而不用打字，以及面对面的对话翻译。语音在 iPhone 本机转成文字，录音不会离开设备。
Someone sent me a link and it won't open别人发我一条链接，打不开
A Creation link looks like triphipo.com/h/?c=… and carries an eight-character code. If tapping it doesn't reach the app, open TripHipo, go to Menu → My Creations → Open someone's Creation, and paste the whole link or just the code.Creation 的链接长得像 triphipo.com/h/?c=…，末尾是一个八位的码。如果点了没进 App，就打开 TripHipo，走 侧边栏 → My Creations → Open someone's Creation，把整条链接或者那个码粘进去。
How do I delete everything?怎么删掉全部数据？
Two steps, because there are two places. Menu → Data & privacy → Delete my account removes everything we hold in the cloud. Deleting the app removes everything on the phone. Doing both leaves nothing anywhere. If you'd like written confirmation, email us.两步，因为东西在两个地方。侧边栏 → Data & privacy → Delete my account 清掉云端的全部；删掉 App 清掉手机上的全部。两件都做，就哪儿都不剩了。需要书面确认的话，写信给我们。
